Just want to let you know we...

Just want to let you know we won't be having a show on Saturday July 4th 2009.

Instead, we will have a Independence Day Tribute on Friday July 3rd 2009,

featuring John Harbolt as ELVIS and the Old Town Jamboree. If you haven't

already you can call ahead for seat reservations at 816-632-1771. The show is still

$10.00 a person , starts at 7:30pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. I here they will be

serving Briskett for dinner.

On July 18th 2009 we will be back to our normal Saturday with guest Roxanne Greg,

and The Burtons.

DAVE WOOGE'S BURLINGTON OPRY THIS SATURDAY

Howdy folks. We have our show this Saturday night, June 6th at 7:00 pm. We have the following guests Saturday night:

Lorena Prater from Vassar
Jordan Mathews, from the Coleman boys
Louis Bia from Lawrence singing the good old country
Rick Kramer, from Shawnee singing the good old country.

We have our regular cast, including Russ, Dave H, Dave W, Jody J, and Mark P.

This will be our last show until August as the first Saturday of July falls on July 4.
We will be playing the Ottawa fair, and Waverly/Ohio days. I will send out a notification on both as they get closer.

Hope to see you when the curtain opens.

A NOTE FROM DAVE WOOGE AND THE BURLINGTON (KS) OPRY

Howdy folks! This Saturday is our May opry show. We have a big line up, including, David Welch, also known as the singing bus driver from Belton, Mo. Dave always brings a bus full of people. We also have Lorena Prater singing some of her country greats and comedy. We also have the infamous Jim Fry from Olivette. Jim is best known for his versions of The auctioneer, and I’ve been everywhere. And last but definitely not least is The Kirchner family from Burlington. Holly, Autumn, Summer and Wayne will entertain you with their fantastic voices. The regular crew will be there,so come on down and enjoy the show. Remember, we are back to one show a month beginning now, and there will be no show in July because it falls on July 4th.
