You can now pre-order Chely's memoir.
Here is a link to the book at Barnes & Noble.
Synopsis
The award-winning country music artist—songwriter and singer (Single White Female, Shut Up and Drive, and others)—writes movingly and candidly about her life, her career, her extraordinary journey.

From her childhood in Wellsville, Kansas, high school homecoming queen, determining at a young age to become a country music star, being cast in Country Music USA Opryland, making a pact with God—to keep her "sinning" to a minimum if he'd get her to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry—and her dream coming true at eighteen . . .

She writes about the record contracts and bus tours; the concerts and TV videos; the critical acclaim and industry awards; the #1 hits on the Billboard charts; the fans; the friendships and the working collaborations with Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, and others. . .

We see the vortex of success taking its toll on her life, and then her finding a new voice in her music, with music flowing naturally from her that never came so easily.

Like Me is a book of revelation: honest, inspiring and true.

LATEST CHELY WRIGHT NEWS ****** LATEST CHELY WRIGHT NEWS ******* LATEST CHELY WRIGHT NEWS
NEW Chely Wright Album

Chely's brand new album Lifted Off The Ground will be released on May 4, 2010 by Vanguard.EMI Records. The album was produced by Rodney Crowell and features eleven new original songs all solely written by Chely.  (Except for one special song on which Crowell and Wright collaborated, called Heavenly Days.) More info on the album and the first single after the new year!!!

The Reading, Writing & Rhythm Benefit Concert
Celebrating 10 years!!!!

The annual concert, which has been called the "unofficial kick off to the CMA Music Fest",  will take place on Tuesday, June 8th at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, just like it has for the past decade. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Feb 1.  Pre-Sale for Fan club members for premium seating and after show meet & greet with Chely will go sale Jan. 15 at 10 AM EST.  If you've ever been to this show over the years, you know that it's always sold out well in advance, so be certain to get your tickets now.  The line up of special artists for the show is coming together and it is going to be spectacular, as always!   There will be an amazing silent and live auction and the fun will blow the roof off of that place.  It's the most fun you'll have all week long!

Chely Wright Fan Club

The Chely Wright Fan Club will be reactivated Saturday, Jan 9.
The 2009 fan club memberships will be honored for the year 2010.  What that means is that fan club members who had been in good standing in 2009 will receive an email from the Chely Wright Fan club the week after the new year informing them of their fan club status. This will all be done in time to purchase the fan club exclusive seating for the Reading, Writing & Rhythm Benefit Concert.  We wanted to honor those fans who had paid to be members for last year so they could continue to support Chely, but since she was focused on making her record, she didn't tour much; therefore, the paying fans got slighted.  This has worried us, Chely included.  So, we just wanted to make sure you knew how much we value those of you who have stayed so loyal to her and to our causes.
Sorry to have gone away for that year, but we hope that this gesture will help you feel appreciated.
We certainly do value you and the amazing support you have given Chely over the years and will continue to give her.
Thank you.
