DAVE WOOGE'S BURLINGTON OPRY -- SATURDAY LINE-UP
Howdy folks. Seems like a long time since the last show.  Anyway, this Saturday night we have a great line up. Starting off with The Coleman Boys from Nevada Missouri.  If you remember these boys they are a fabulous group off 4 boys that do Statler Brothers, Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama and so forth.  They also do a great gospel quartet.  With The Coleman Boys we have a newcomer named Sam Shilts.  Sam is new to the show and I don’t have a lot of information on him, but when he auditioned last spring he was absolutely great.  I am very much looking forward to his performance on stage Saturday night.

            Man we keep having some great shows! I know I keep saying that, but I think we’ve really been blessed this year with very good talented folks. It was so very nice to have Tom & Christa Brown join us unexpectedly for the last show in July. It was so great having them both on stage with us again!

            We would like to thank Dewayne & Dave for getting us some really fine musicians to set in for them when they were gone in August. It’s always very enjoyable for us to meet and work with great musicians!

            We have more wonderful shows for you in this month of September. More new folks for you to hear and enjoy, and, of course, some old friends are going to be dropping by. See you at The Jubilee!

Howdy folks.  Yes, we have the air conditioner fixed.  Thanks for all of your patience with the heat last show.  Even with the a/c not putting out full I really enjoyed the show.  Will be happy not to sweat this show.

For our guests this show we have Jim Fry from Olivette.  Jim is a wonderful entertainer and helps us out with our haw hee shows.  We also have Louis Bia from Lawrence.  Louis sings the best of the 70s very well.  We also have Miss Lorena Prater.  As an extra bonus we have a young girl singing on this stage for the first time named Jenna Moore.  Jenna is my neighbor up here in Pomona and is fabulous.  I really think you will enjoy her singing.

****A NOTE ABOUT MIKE O'ROARK FROM THE HOOTIN ANNIES

 

In support of this treasured musician, Mike’s friends and family are organizing a benefit to help offset the expenses of Mike’s medical care and treatment-related travel to be held on Sunday, August 17^th, 12 noon at Finnegan’s Hall (505 E 18^th Ave, North Kansas City, MO 64116).
