IMPORTANT! ***** LATEST NEWS ON FT. SCOTT JAMBOREE ***** NOTICE *****
Earlier we reported that the Ft. Scott Jamboree would be opening March 21 under new management.  Unfortunately, the opening date has been delayed because of permit delays by the city.  Stay tuned and check back often.  We will stay on top of this and let everyone know when everything is GO!  Remember -----  politicians are like diapers  -- they should be changed frequently and for the same reason!

NEWS FLASH ******* NEWS FLASH ******* NEWS FLASH ******* NEWS FLASH
Hello Roger and Jean, Not sure if you remember us or not.  Collette and Shawn Pittman in Branson.  We had a show for a short while in Chillicothe and Chula Missouri which unfortunately was not quite up to our standards. Oh Well.  Anyway I'm sure you have heard of the Fort Scott Jubilee, which closed last year. Fortunately we have been given the opportunity to take over and start anew.  We are VERY excited to get started.  Our Opening date is March 21 so in two weeks we are off and running again.  The new name is Fort Scott Jamboree.  We will have a show every Saturday night at 8 p.m. The building is Memorial Hall and is located on Third and National Avenue.  This time we have an actual stage, lighting and real seating, so its a step up---yeehaw. Any help you can give us passing the word will be greatly appreciated.  Hope to see you there.
Shawn & Collette Pittman

MARCH NEWS FROM THE BURLINGTON OPRY
Good evening.  Hope all is well with everyone.  I’m enjoying this warm weather.

This Saturday night at the Burlington Opry we have our country show with the incredible Michelle Lea from Independence.   Michelle has a great track record of performances and a fantastic web site, Michelle lea.net.  She has a wonderful set of recordings on there.  Speaking of recordings, we will be professionally recording the show Saturday night for a promotional video, so bring your hollering voices with you, we will need all the audience feedback we can get.

We also have a new group performing at the show Saturday night.  Osage Prairie Revue, a bluegrass group from Pittsburg will be performing at the show this Saturday.  They have played at other oprys, and have had a great response.  It should be a great night!!!

Keep Jody’s in your prayers right now.  He has spend some time in the hospital with a gut ailment.  He will not be at the  show this Saturday as he is in a lot of pain.

Hope to see you when the curtain opens!!!
