Hello folks and happy New Year.  Tomorrow night (Saturday) is our show at the Burlington Opry.  Our guests are, the Singing Bus Driver, Mr. David Welch from Belton.  David brings a bus full of people  and then performs on stage with the band.  If you have never seen David perform you have missed out.  We also have the Dickie family from Louisburg.  The family is a band with the mother playing the bass, dad on guitar and the girls playing mandolin and fiddle.  They are a pleasure to watch.  We are also pleased to have Ronda Kemble.  Ronda has sang backup at local oprys and is always a lot of fun.  We have Jody on steel, Russ on bass, myself on keys, Mark Paquette on drums, and David Hammersmith on guitar.

Hope to see you there.

David

NO BURLINGTON OPRY THIS SATURDAY NIGHT
Howdy folks.  With the weather we’ve had the parking lot behind the theater  is a huge sheet of ice.  This along with the ice we’re going to get tomorrow, and then a call for snow on Saturday, I have decided to cancel the show for this Saturday.  I’m sorry for any inconvenience.  Meanwhile, Merry Christmas, we’ll see you next year….

As I sit here it is like 6 degrees outside. There is

 a 90% chance of 4 - 6 inches of snow tomorrow,

Thursday night they are calling for freezing rain, and

on Friday night at show the high is suppose to be 8

 degrees!  :( So, guess what????

I have already called off the last show. I put the AD in

The New Shopper that we will NOT have a show Dec.

 19.  I hate to do that, but I really think that the

weather this week, is not going to be on our side. I

will get Bill & Mike to come up when spring gets here!

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & A

Happy New Year, and thank you for another great year!

See you all on Friday, Feb. 27 with Margorie Horton!

Howdy folks.  Just a cold reminder that the warm Burlington Opry is this Saturday night dec 6 at 7:00.  Our guests this time include from Ottawa, miki Rocker, and mr Johnny Cash impersonator, levi Hinck.  Also we have back on the stage 15 year old Jenna Moore from Ottawa.  A couple of the Kirchners will be singing as cameos, and it looks to be a great show.  Come on down to  Burlington this satuday night and enjoy dinner at the great  Across the Border restraunt.
